HAWAI’I ECO RETREAT

Hawaii Eco Retreat started as an intentional community and retreat center at an offgrid eco-village on the beautiful Big Island of Hawai’i. HER has stewarded several hundred people to connect with themselves, the land, and others for stays ranging from a few days to 6 months. During my time managing the community kitchen there, I developed several recipes to add to their informal kitchen binder, which now acts as a de facto cookbook for volunteers to easily make vegetarian meals for up to 25 guests and residents.
